was a guest of the Sola Kite Club at their 20th anniversary kite festival in
Norway at the end of May 2009. Other invited kite makers included Stefan Gudmunds
(Sweden) and Kelvin Woods (UK)
A kite making workshop was held at the Sola Kulturhus on the day before the
kite festival. Kite artists worked with many adults and children constructing
star kites, butterflies, deltas, box kites and Afghan fighting kites.
On the following day hundreds of people converged on the beach with their kites
for the main kite flying event. A clear blue sky provided the perfect backdrop
for the colourful kites.
