kite festivals present the opportunity for me to travel and meet people who
share my passion for kites.
FOTW,
BONDI, AUSTRALIA
Bondi beach provided the setting for the annual Festival of the Winds, organised
by the Australian Kite Flyers Society. I was fortunate to be their international
invited guest in September 2004.
KITE
FLYING IN JERUSALEM
I spent a week in Jerusalem during August 2005 as a guest at the Israel Museum,
to participate in their annual kite flying event and deliver lectures about my
kite design. Over 6500 people attended the kite event.
FESTIVAL
DE CERFS VOLANTS, FRANCE
In 2006 I was a guest at the international kite festival in the delightful
French town of Marines.
